Dance Arts Los Alamos ($5000)
DALA aims to create a strategic plan to grow their programs while improving and strengthening their financial health.
“We are incredibly honored to be chosen to receive this helpful support to put towards our students and their aspirations in Youth America Grand Prix. This year our ensemble qualified for the International Finals competition in Tampa FL. We will be using this money to aid in covering the expenses for our dancers to attend the competition and represent New Mexico on the International stage.“– Jonathan Guise, DALA Artistic Director
Los Alamos Makers ($5,000)
“With this funding award, LACF is giving us a unique opportunity to help Los Alamos Makers reboot its operation. The grant will fund a new and improved website and marketing strategy that will match our new Central location. We are grateful for all the community support we’ve experienced and look forward to resuming our services.” Prisca Tiasse, Executive Director, Los Alamos Makers
Pajarito Environmental Education Center ($2,500)
Self Help ($5,000)
Our Self-Help team is very grateful for our ongoing partnership with the Los Alamos Community Foundation. This funding will enable us to strengthen our marketing and communication capabilities, enhancing our organization’s image and impact now and in the future. Funds will be used to engage graphic design, marketing, and website experts to enhance our brand, website, and online presence. Although Self Help, Inc. has existed for more than 55 years, this LACF investment will equip us with essential tools to strengthen our communications and marketing “muscle.” – Diane Smogor, Executive Director, Self Help, Inc.
