Los Alamos Community Foundation Hires Kelle Harrison As Anchorum Fellow Grants Manager

The Los Alamos Community Foundation welcomes Kelle Harrison as the new Anchorum Fellow Grants Manager. Her role includes assessing the health and wellness needs of our community and collaborating with the Anchorum Health Foundation (AHF), local nonprofits, Los Alamos County, and LACF donors to meet some of those needs.

Kelle is a Los Alamos native and Hilltopper alumna. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Marketing and Psychology. Kelle began her career in Arizona where she worked for the City of Chandler spearheading several campaigns and large-scale events, with her most notable achievement being the creation and implementation of a water safety campaign that continues to this day. After starting her family, Kelle and her husband returned to Los Alamos to raise their children in the community they love. Most recently Kelle has worked for several local companies leveraging her skills in communication and marketing.

“I am thrilled to bring Kelle onboard as our Anchorum Fellow Grants Manager,” said Alison Watkins, LACF Executive Director. “She brings with her a wealth of experience in many different areas along with enthusiasm and a fresh perspective on making a difference in the health and wellness of our community.”

“I am strongly committed to equity, diversity and inclusion, with a passion for advancing health equity and social justice in my community,” Anchorum Fellow Kelle Harrison said. “I’m looking forward to this new role with the Los Alamos Community Foundation to empower local nonprofits and improve health outcomes in Los Alamos.”

This position was made possible by the Anchorum Health Foundation (AHF), whose funding includes placing an Anchorum Fellow at five community foundations across northern New Mexico. “Our aim is to strengthen these foundations so they can achieve lasting, meaningful impacts in their communities,” said Jerry Jones, President and CEO of AHF.

Thanks to Anchorum’s local investment, the Los Alamos Community Foundation is excited about expanding our work in health and wellnes.
