Los Alamos Community Foundation Hires First Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Los Alamos Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Rachel Kizielewicz has joined the Foundation as its first Executive Director. Rachel has more than fifteen years of experience in fundraising and philanthropy in the nonprofit sector. She served as the Director of Constituent Relations with the University of Pittsburgh and was a key fundraising staff member for the university’s $2 billion capital campaign. Rachel was instrumental in establishing strong relationships between the university and its constituents, helping to increase the donor base and strengthen ties to the community.

Throughout her career, she has helped nonprofit organizations of all sizes develop targeted fundraising strategies and robust donor outreach programs. Rachel obtained a Master’s Degree in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
